    We have augmented the NASA DC-8 Airborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (AIRSAR) instrument with a pair of C-band antennas displaced across the track to form an interferometer sensitive to topographic variations of the Earth's surface. The antennas were developed by Alenia Spazio under the sponsorship of the Italian Space Agency (ASI), and the AIRSAR instrument and modifications to it supporting.       The Unmanned Air Vehicle Synthetic Aperture Radar (UAVSAR) is a project jointly developed by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center in which a synthetic aperture radar is being flight-validated on a Gulfstream CA (GIII) in a specially designed pod that will be interoperable with manned and unmanned aircraft. This storyboard book introduces K-4 students to airport and aircraft terminology, including the identification of various engine types. The accompanying role-playing story takes children on a pretend trip to the airport and then on an airplane from Cleveland to San Diego, CA.
